Although I do live in a cave, it is not a very deep one, so of course I heard about the Skeptics’ Guide to the Universe podcast long ago. But I confess that I never gave it a listen, what with having had more than 12 parsecs (yes, I know, shut up) worth of other podcasts to get through first. Now, however, the clever bastards have found a way to jump the queue by publishing the Skeptics’ Guide to the Universe book, seemingly knowing that my addiction to podcasts is of pale significance compared to my addiction to books. I have been enjoying the book so much that I chose to take just a tiny peek at the most recent podcast. And I enjoyed that so much that now I have to listen to the whole archive. Sure, there are nearly 700 episodes in the archive right now, and they have the high ground, but you underestimate my power.
